Restaurants And Bars

Seven restaurants and bars serve Creole, Italian, Asian and international cuisine. A special mention must go to the grilled Japanese delights at Teppanyaki, prepared as you watch from a live show kitchen. We can also highly recommend Portobello, for its homemade pasta and beautiful setting by the lake with views of Mount Dauban. Sakura is the innovative Asian restaurant, where sushi and sashimi are joined by flavoursome curries, meat and fish and Lo Brizan Bar is a laid-back lunch option, with a menu of light snacks, wine and cocktails, accompanied by live entertainment. Grann Kaz, the resort’s signature dining experience, is housed in the restored plantation home of the Dauban Family, former owners of the island; a five-minute walk from the resort, modern Creole cuisine is on the menu at this unique and atmospheric heritage site.

The resort has a large swimming pool with Jacuzzi and extensive watersports including snorkelling, kayaking, sailing and fishing. Scuba diving is also a big draw here with the region’s only five-star PADI dive centre on site. In addition, tennis, table tennis, a gym, hiking trails and the award-winning Silhouette Spa are available for your sport and relaxation needs. For the youngsters, the Jungle Fun Kids’ Club, for ages 4-12 yrs, offers indoor and outdoor play areas and activities include coconut painting, arts and crafts and treasure hunts.
